The Deluxe Queen Room sleeps two on a queen‑size bed. A private bathroom offers a shower and free toiletries. Air conditioning and a safe deposit box are provided for comfort and security.

The place looked very pretty, the bed was super comfy, the pool was clean, and we had lounge chairs and a bathroom dedicated to the pool terrace; however, there was no front‑desk staff all day or night, the area was deserted, and it was impossible to catch a taxi in the evening or even the afternoon; the breakfast/cafeteria was shut, so we couldn’t eat anything at the hotel, which was a problem since we didn’t have a mini‑fridge in the room.

However, I was a bit taken aback by the eerie emptiness of the hotel, and the fact that there was no staff on site, only contactable through WhatsApp. Additionally, I encountered issues with the hot water supply in the bathroom, and the rooms were quite dark.

Unfortunately, my stay at La Sabana was marred by a disappointing experience. Although the location and concept of the hotel were appealing, I was disappointed to find a stain on the grassy area, which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the space.

I loved staying in this hotel in a quiet and safe area with many stores and restaurants, close to the beach and town; the room was perfect for my needs, clean, well stocked, with quality bedsheets, quality toiletries, and AC; the staff were super accommodating with a late departure and responsive over WhatsApp; I enjoyed swimming and sunbathing at the rooftop pool; make sure you communicate with reception in advance via WhatsApp to get details on how to enter the property, how to get your keys and WiFi, since there’s no reception per se, which I didn’t mind; there’s also limited or no phone signal by the property so you need to coordinate in advance; great value for money in the centre of Tulum! It was outstanding for the price and generally. Thank you!

I had a pleasant stay at a hotel that was conveniently located near restaurants and was impressively clean. However, I was disappointed to find a musty smell in the bathroom, which detracted from my overall experience.
