“Disappointed”
Gerry was a really nice host and the communal area was pretty good, and the breakfast was nice—no cooked options. The double bed’s linens weren’t changed, so I had to turn everything inside out 🤮. The old wooden beds had cheap, ugly covers, and the room felt dated, dim, and not as clean as the pictures showed; the floor rug looked grimy, a cable was hanging out of the wall, there was no TV, a shower holder was broken, and the toilet seat was loose. It felt like a poor relative’s bedroom, definitely not 4‑star quality, and certainly not worth €150 per night—maybe €90 max.
