I thought I had booked an ocean‑front room and didn’t receive one, so I was disappointed not having an ocean view when I expected it.

The location was fine, yet the property was run down and dated, the staff were miserable, and I had to pay a $200 security deposit for a week’s stay that wasn’t mentioned during booking. The room was so neglected, dirty, and falling apart that even if the $200 were applied to repairs it would still look condemned. Floor tiles were lifting at the corners and loose, and the gap around the front door frame was almost big enough to slip a finger through. The whole place needs a complete refurbishment.

For the price it was great, pet‑friendly, and even allowed outdoor smoking, but the pillows were awful, the bedding was old, and a party was happening that made parking difficult and the night swim awkward.
