“2 night break”

The hot tub was a highlight and the place was very quiet. The beds felt too soft, and the shower tray didn’t drain well. The hot tub’s water level was low and I had to top it up with a sink bowl. I asked for a tea towel that never arrived. The pub’s opening times were wrong, so we never went, and the decking overlooked a shipping container.

“Well needed and relaxing”

The hot tub was great. The only downside was the absence of a hair dryer.

Accommodation and food were both excellent. The only issue was the lack of a place to hang clothes and towels.

Parking was plentiful, the beds were very comfortable, and the pub staff were friendly and welcoming. The lodge felt modern, cosy, and very clean. However, the kitchen was missing a few essentials like scissors, a wooden spoon, and serving dishes, and fairy lights around the hot tub would have been nice.

I absolutely loved the weekend stay here! Nothing to fault, I’ll definitely return. The location is lovely, the views are great, the staff are friendly, the pub is right on site, and everything else is within a short drive or can be delivered. The hot tub was fantastic, and the pod we stayed in was very clean and comfortable.
