Quiet and clean, but no free coffee in the morning seemed cheap on the hotel's part; the room had only hot tea. I asked for coffee in the lobby and they referred me to pay for self‑service urns.

“Very comfortable rooms”

The pool was great, the location was convenient, and the food was really good, but the service left a lot to be desired: a waitress training another girl was rude and we weren’t checked on until we finished. I wish breakfast were included. The hallway was very loud, a dog howled next door, and the shower’s half‑door let water splash all over the floor—ridiculous. Since our rooms only had showers (I appreciate the water‑saving effort), a hot tub by the pool would have been nice.

We appreciated the shuttle bus and used it several times; Larry, the driver, was excellent with his suggestions and info about Newport. I wish we’d talked to him earlier because we would have taken up a few of his ideas. The lighting near the coffee table area was weak, and the bathroom night light was too bright.

Beautiful property, plenty of parking, excellent restaurant, comfortable bed
