The accommodation at Weingut Le Cepages is ideal for a short trip; the rooms are mostly new and appealing. The French breakfast is modest but sufficient, and the car can be parked safely in the courtyard. Although the full champagne tasting at 60 € per person is a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth it. The winemaker speaks excellent German and his champagnes are truly superb; he explained much more than usual and we were very impressed. We were traveling with a dog, which caused no issues. On the downside, the vineyard offers small meals even when pre‑ordered, but they’re quite expensive—a burger costs 25 €, and after the tasting we ordered a cheese‑ham platter for 11 € per person, totaling 44 € for four of us, which did not match the food’s cost or portion size.
