Communal facilities include a TV area and shared kitchen.

The location was perfect for our activities on the lakes in the area. The room was very clean. The playground and game room were enjoyed by the kids. I didn't like that dogs are not allowed. I understand that the facility can have whatever rules they want, but as other Top 10's allow dogs I found that surprising

Being outside Rotorua’s main town made the spot quiet and peaceful; the Blue Lake is lovely and the local walking and biking trails are well‑rated, plus the facilities keep kids entertained. The on‑site shop is handy, but the fresh‑food selection is limited; since we were out of town, having fresh bread, cheese, milk, etc. on hand would have saved us a trip into town for breakfast and lunch.

The location was ideal, tucked away in a corner with easy access to the trampoline below; we could relax and watch our kids play without disturbing neighbors thanks to the soundproof room. However, upon arrival there was a lingering smell of someone cooking—perhaps fish—before us.
