The interior design and furniture of this place are top-notch, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The lack of hygiene, especially in the bathroom, and the completely unhygienic pool were major turn-offs. To make matters worse, it took ages for the hot water to flow, and the water pressure was non-existent due to the lack of a water pump. The manager's behavior was also unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.

This place is a real gem, set amidst a lush greenery with ancient trees providing a cooling canopy and a soothing atmosphere. It's perfect for a digital detox, with no TV and no A/C, but the sounds of nature and the breeze make up for it. The pool and patio area are fantastic for relaxing after a dip, and the only thing to keep in mind is to bring some mosquito repellent.

We had the pleasure of staying in this charming colonial house for one night, and it was an experience we'll never forget. The spacious rooms with high ceilings and classic furniture created a unique atmosphere, and the design of the bathroom with an open sky was a perfect touch. The house's character and charm made our stay incredibly special, and we would love to return. Just be aware that Google Maps might lead you astray, and the Sri Lankan power sockets might require some getting used to.

This guesthouse is a real gem, set in a beautiful garden with a lovely pool. The old house with its wooden shutters exudes a cozy atmosphere, and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. If you're looking for a peaceful and natural retreat, this is definitely a place to consider.

“Paradijs!”

This 150-year-old villa is a stunning piece of history, lovingly maintained with pride. It's like stepping into a fairytale, with a beautiful garden and pool to match. We ended our trip here and loved the peaceful atmosphere. The welcome was super friendly, with a refreshing cold ginger beer waiting for us. Dinner was delicious and we even got a sneak peek into the kitchen. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
