On arrival I felt the cool, peaceful vibe the name promises, with many trees, bird sounds near the Chao Phraya River, faint boat traffic, a microwave for reheating food in the common area, dishes, cutlery, a fridge in the room, and plenty of air conditioning. I had to prepare for mosquitoes and the transport service – if you’re not taking a car it can be a bit tough (fix by booking a Bolt if available). Checking in at noon can be warm (fix by turning on the fan and AC). It’s far from the Lineman service point, and the restaurant is 1.8‑3 km away.

The setting is very nice, but it’s quite a distance from the town center – about ten minutes if you have a car.

The location is right in front of the river, but the room is very old and small for the price, and the bathroom has mold.

We booked two king‑size garden villas for our family of four and loved the place – it’s as beautiful as the photos and the location is excellent, right on the river. The bed was very hard, and a few mosquitoes appeared after dark, so we couldn’t stay outside for long, but we were all exhausted and went to bed early.
