The room was spotless and well‑maintained, and the host was courteous and helpful.

The spot was spot‑on, but the rooms were plain—just a place to soak up the great surroundings, not a luxury pad. The room carried a nasty sewer smell that was awful. We stayed in all four rooms, so the complex felt like ours for the six of us. No elevator, so we had to climb stairs to the rooms, but it wasn't too hard. Carlo, the owner, made our time in Ortigia unforgettable. We fell in love with Ortigia.

The place is in a very central spot, super clean, with a great bed and surprisingly quiet. Moving luggage from the parking garage up to the second floor was a bit of a workout, but we knew that beforehand and it was fine.
