La Maison, a family‑run boutique BnB in Bir, offers adults‑only rooms with private check‑in, balconies overlooking gardens or mountains, en‑suite bathrooms, free Wi‑Fi, work desks and wardrobes. Guests relax on a sun terrace, garden, or outdoor fireplace, and enjoy a play area, bike hire, free parking, and a continental‑vegetarian‑vegan breakfast. Yoga, cycling, a minimarket, coffee shop and 24‑hour concierge complete the experience.

The hosts offered warmth and personal care, the morning walk along the road with the beautiful Dhauladhar peak was a bonus, and the food was amazing, so I rate it 10.0/10.

Everything about this place is absolute perfection: the décor, the location, the vibes, and especially the hosts Preeti and Ranjith who run it with love and dedication, making you feel their warmth from the moment you walk in, so I give it a 10.0/10.

Breakfast was okay okay as compared to the charges. Not exceptional. House was clean and well maintained. This is the home stay with a lot of restrictions. This should have been mentioned clearly on the site. Owner has called and asked for advance money to book perhaps the norms of the should have been followed if they are registered here. Restrictions were: 1) Cutlery not provided for outside food because they do not have servants. 2) Normal to loud voice or conversation between group are restricted post 10:30pm 3) Suggestions are not welcomed. When we suggested them that this property should be listed as homestay and is not clearly mentioned on site, they didn't respond well. 4) Owner acted as a girls hostel warden instead of warm host :D 5) Guest are not allowed o return to property post 11 pm. 6) Housekeeping service was not there. 7) No room service

We stayed two nights at La Maison in Bir, a peaceful mountain getaway that feels like a "home away from home"; the location is fantastic—accessible yet incredibly quiet and serene—especially the beautiful garden perfect for relaxing in the mountain air; the rooms were spacious with all basic amenities, and the staff and hosts were warm, polite, and accommodating, going out of their way to help, earning a 10.0/10.
