“Wonderful beachfront hotel with a warm family atmosphere and great hospitality.”

This tiny hotel right next to the beach feels like home thanks to its family atmosphere. The owner, Sofia, welcomed us warmly and let us check in early because we arrived ahead of time. She makes amazing, homemade breakfasts every morning and is incredibly kind and helpful. The cleaning lady was also fantastic and quickly helped when we had a minor electrical issue. The hotel is spotless, and our room had a side‑sea view with a cozy balcony perfect for relaxing. I also liked the outdoor hoses at the entrance to rinse sand off after the beach. The overall vibe is peaceful and genuinely pleasant. The only downside is that there’s no elevator, which could be a problem for people with limited mobility or those who struggle with stairs, but it didn’t affect our stay.

The balcony overlooking the sea was quite pleasant, the nearby bus stop was very convenient, and restaurants were just around the corner.

It feels like home at Hotel Ilion now; another great stay with a good bed, nice bathroom, and effective air‑conditioning, and Sophia delivers a delicious breakfast every day with fresh treats.
