At least there were single rooms, but the soundproofing was awful. I’m sensitive to noise and wanted a quieter room, yet all single rooms were on the first floor. Besides the loud voices, key sounds, and door slams from the same floor, people on the upper floors also walked past the hallway to the elevator, so every sound was audible. I had to bring earplugs and sleep aids to get any rest. The shared bathroom on the third floor was the only one for women, which was inconvenient. The first‑floor bathroom is accessible but gender‑shared, raising privacy concerns about potential covert monitoring.

I was shocked by the hotel’s payment process, which felt absurd and unfair. A week before arrival, the hotel charged my credit card via the booking platform for the full room rate, then refunded it, insisting that I pay again on the day of check‑in either by card or cash. They claimed this was to confirm the card had enough credit and to guarantee that guests would actually stay, but the logic is flawed because if the card was already charged the hotel would have received the money regardless of whether the room was occupied. This seemed like a deliberate attempt to bypass the booking platform’s rules and avoid fees. The staff did show me the card‑capture and refund receipts, but they didn’t give me the signed copy of the cardholder’s authorization until I insisted. I’ve used the booking platform many times, and this is the first time I’ve encountered such a payment mishandling. I feel the hotel distrusts and disrespects its guests, and I’m wary of how they use my credit card information.
