The staff are very pleasant, but finding a parking spot is hard unless you just want to drop off luggage quickly; walking is preferable. The windows have no sound insulation, so avoid staying Friday to Saturday if you need quiet sleep.

“Excellent hotel, I was was unlucky with the staff.”

The accommodation is excellent, the location is wonderful, the room is clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the breakfast area feels cozy. However, I have never met such an unempathetic reception staff. When we arrived, we greeted the staff but no one acknowledged us; one employee was busy giving tourist information to other guests. We expected the same level of attention and service. Eventually another staff member asked for our passports, pointed out the lift, handed us the key, and walked away. I felt like a hotel employee who had simply come to collect a key. This has never happened to me before.

Clean. For goodness’ sake, they were also kind and even waited for us with a bottle of complimentary white wine… which we left inside. Many issues: first, the absurd nighttime noise from the nightlife outside; it’s a shame the windows are still from the Renaissance era. That explains the “nighttime mask” and earplugs gift. The mattress… we’re still trying to recover. Don’t expect slippers; it’s a four‑star hotel that I’d rate at most three. What about the smell inside the room?
