The staff were great, but the location had thin walls. The room was on the main road so we could hear both cars and the train, and we could hear guests from the adjacent room.

The staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was well cooked and we enjoyed it. The location was good, a short walk from Máchovo jezero, and the place was clean. The room was very small, and we couldn’t combine the beds into a double. The bathroom was through the hallway – very uncomfortable. This room wasn’t even listed – there were no photos of the offered room, so it was a big surprise on arrival. The hallway had a hint of the building’s age, dampness and some mold. Breakfast was weak and basic. There was no vegetable selection – only one plate of mixed vegetables, two leaves of iceberg lettuce, one pepper, half a cucumber – for all guests. No spreads. The fruit selection was tiny, one kind of juice. Ham, cheese, sausage and eggs were available, but it was only enough for one night. We stayed two nights and that’s it.

We had a pleasant stay, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. Overall we were satisfied and enjoyed our time. It was disappointing that we received a different room than the one we had booked, even though it was in the same price category. Parking is also a bit problematic – the entire pension only has two parking spots.

“Výborný poměr cena výkon.”

Breakfast was excellent, everything I expect from a hotel breakfast. The value for money is exceptionally good. The staff were great, friendly, helpful, and smiling. Everything here is noisy – from outside and between rooms. It felt almost like we were living in a tent. It’s a bit uncomfortable to have the bathroom in the hallway. But the price balances it out.

The breakfast was superb, the pastries outstanding, and the food for dinner or lunch was excellent and plentiful.
