It was wonderful and extremely peaceful—exactly what we needed, relaxing and close to nature. We’ll definitely book again.

“Good weekend away with lots of fire wood.”

The room was very comfortable and the staff were very hospitable, and the sunsets were great, but the shower water pressure was a bit low.

The location was great and the facilities were very good, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The sand road into the lodge got flooded by rain, so our small car couldn’t get through; a larger vehicle is needed during the rainy season.

“Overall, we had an enjoyable stay, but disappointed that the weather put a dampener on things!”

The lodge was well laid out, clean, and had all the comforts we needed. The host was friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home, which mattered because it rained all weekend and we couldn’t do game drives or explore much. The spa treatment was lovely. The weather prevented us from fully enjoying what Mothopo has to offer, but that’s out of anyone’s control.
