“Appalling communication and a health and safety crisis property!”
It was spacious and close to the international centre. Where do I begin , on arrival the property was dirty it had clearly not been cleaned for a while. 1, There was months of grease and grime on the pots & pans. And the plates, cups and crockery was dirty. 2, The mattresses were well beyond acceptable, you could see the springs coming through (you can imagine how that felt). 3, There was broken furniture, chipped plates, and the outside decking was damaged. (When walking down the steps the second one gave way and I rolled my ankle from the fall). That’s just a few of the problems we encountered. When I tried to contact the person looking after the property they didn’t answer, I only got through because I went via Booking and made a complaint. TY said someone would come out to re clean the property, which they did 2 days later! Since our stay TY offered us 10% off our next stay and dismissed all the problems despite us having photos. I have since made a complaint to booking requesting a partial or full refund to which they also haven’t responded within the 24hrs they said they would. Last response was that they were waiting for a response from TY. Not impressed at all and will be taking this further!
