Located on the Colorado River, the Golden Nugget Laughlin features a contemporary resort with an outdoor pool, casino, and three fine dining restaurants, including Saltgrass Steakhouse and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Each stylish room boasts modern décor, earthy tones, and marble counters. The hotel is a half mile from Laughlin Outlet Centre and 10 miles from Laughlin Bullhead International Airport.

The restaurants were tasty, but the hotel itself reeked of wet carpet right from the entrance, and the room smelled of mildew with visible water stains on the ceiling; the carpets were dirty and never vacuumed, leaving the place stinking—definitely below the standard of the Vegas Golden Nugget.

The restaurants were the best in Laughlin, but the elevator was out of service, forcing a lot of extra walking.
