La Sirena Playa Jacó

The receptionist who managed everything was incredibly nice and did a great job. The restaurant was closed both evenings, and our first room had a strong smell of an unfamiliar cleaning product, so we immediately got another room, which we really appreciated. However, there were no bedside lamps. Overall, the accommodation is much too expensive compared to what’s offered and isn’t even right on the beach. We stayed the next two nights in another place in Jaco, which was cheaper and better in everything except the staff.

“Idyllisch und strategisch gut gelegen”

It’s a reasonably sized place, close to the beach, with a pool, a restaurant, and free parking. The rooms are spacious and lovingly decorated with Iguana pictures. The best part is the incredibly friendly and warm staff and the owners. The bathroom is a bit older and rustic, but clean and functional.

“If we find ourselves in Jaco again, THIS is where we'll be staying.”

The spot is perfect—beach right outside, super quiet at night, and the staff went above and beyond. The shower didn’t have much hot water, but that’s normal for a 3‑4 star place in Costa Rica, so just keep that in mind.

“Excellent séjour”

Everything was flawless: the room was super comfy, quiet, almost on the beach, the reception was friendly and relaxed, the pool was excellent, and we’ll definitely come back.
