“Stunning hotel inside & out. Suggestion: if a wedding is on; don’t let anyone outside the wedding party book/pay”
The grounds and hotel were beautiful, making it a perfect spot for a wedding. Because a wedding was happening, we weren’t allowed into the hotel until the wedding guests had cleared the hallway and reception area, which made us feel like unimportant guests since we weren’t part of the wedding party. We couldn’t use any of the nice seating areas and were pushed into a side room with a few tables, which felt awkward.
“Very friendly welcoming hotel”
The staff were friendly. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the shower on, so I ended up taking a bath instead.
“Would definitely stay here again”
The setting was in lovely grounds, and I loved the corner bath. It was a bit of a walk from the car park.

The place was peaceful and quiet, and the staff were friendly. The bar area was lovely, and the bar staff were pleasant. Leaving was the only downside.
