The welcome was pleasant even though we arrived late, yet the room was not clean and the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The room, bed and bathroom were generally clean, though a closer look revealed a few hairs from previous occupants; the linens were fresh and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual spread of cornflakes, toast, jam, waffles, coffee and tea – not spectacular but acceptable. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi signal was weak, the air‑conditioning temperature couldn’t be adjusted, and some of the towels were not clean.

I love the area and the location, but I've started spotting roaches lately.

The location is great and the rooms are comfortable, but we had a refund issue: they sent us a receipt from the hotel that was not a transfer ticket, just a statement that the money had been returned. The hotel itself was fine, but I felt scammed because I've never had this problem with any other hotel. I wouldn't stay there again.
