I appreciated the peace and quiet and the river view, but the room was small and the road to the lodge was rough.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly, but the place is hard to find and already a bit dated, and the rooms are very small.

“Overall a beautiful stay.”

The staff and venue are definitely 10/10 – super friendly, very peaceful and pretty out there, but it’s a bit far from all the spots in town, and they don’t allow late check‑in; you have to pay per hour and any extra cost you incur isn’t communicated beforehand. Their breakfast is very limited and has no juices, just coffee and tea.

“Friendly but stingy”

I liked that the lodge is right by the river and it's really cozy and clean. The staff is super friendly and kind. However, it's pretty far from the city centre and when it rains, the streets get really muddy. We had a hard time finding a taxi to pick us up. Also, since we were alone, we weren't allowed to use the deck chairs by the pool. And in the evening, the staff switched off the lounge lights and left us without a comfortable spot to hang out.
