The property is permanently closed, yet it keeps showing up on the website; the owners claimed they had informed the site, but we still got booked and had to scramble for another place—none of this is the owners’ fault.

We were very disappointed: after confirming our reservation, we got a cancellation the next day because the B&B claimed it was fully booked. We had planned around this booking, so the last‑minute cancel caused a major disruption. If the B&B’s booking system shows incorrect availability, they should fix it instead of accepting reservations they can’t honor; the responsibility shouldn’t fall on us. Even after this let‑down, they still asked us to leave a review.

Nothing. It was filthy, with prejudiced Mami dolls on display. We rented based on the 107 room rate for 2 rooms with whirlpool baths (that's what their website said). Only 1 room had a whirlpool, which we gave to our daughter. The rooms and facility were filthy. Our room ended up being so small we had trouble with 2 people in the room (barely room to walk), and the bathroom was a disgrace. "Tiles" on the floor were not secured with paste, and only partially done (the undone part was covered up (barely) with a throw rug, which is dangerous because it moved. The other metal items in the bathroom were rusting (toilet paper roll for one). I was texting one of the owners about a reminder for breakfast because I'm a type 1 diabetic and cannot eat carbs, which I told her when I reserved the rooms. She told me there were only carb items then asked what I could eat, which I told her eggs and cheese if that was a possibility. I then texted her we would go out to breakfast, as she didn't appear to be either understanding or complying with my request. I asked her several times if we can get a larger room and she texted that all rooms were rented. I texted "disappointed" and I got this exact text, much later, from her husband: Hi this is Bill from Serenity hill I'm disappointed in you my wife has kidney and pneumonia and your harassing her I'm really upset if you want a bigger room 150.00 cash and I will move you. You got a hell of a deal at 107.00 for your room (he spelled it Roos) our cheapest room is 150.00 plus tax about 169.00 per night Let me no god bless (their visitor book in every room had God Bless on every page, but he, as a Christian, obviously wasn't blessing me???) We were out to dinner when I got this text at 8:47pm, so my daughter and husband drove back and repacked our car. We were scared to stay there at that point. Plus, quite frankly if she had pn
