“gut”
The whole building was great, especially the staff. The restaurant was closed because of an event.

The room was quiet and a pleasant size, even with a small balcony. The food was unexpectedly good. We were welcomed warmly, and breakfast was fine too.

The location was perfect for our bike trip because the hotel sits right on the bike path, and the town is easily walkable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the room was spotless. Breakfast was okay but could improve; scrambled eggs would have been nice. The house is right beside a stream, so a room with a window facing the stream can be a bit noisy at night. The restaurant listed on Booking wasn’t open, but that wasn’t an issue since the beer garden is just around the corner and the city is reachable on foot.
A cozy place with tastefully decorated rooms, friendly staff, a smooth phone check‑in on a quiet Sunday, and a tasty breakfast. The downside is the lack of a covered bike parking spot with charging, and a loud rushing stream runs by the building—if that bothers you, ask for a room on the opposite side when booking.
