I couldn't comment on the room because I ended up staying elsewhere. I prefer places where you can drop luggage before check‑in and pick it up after check‑out, especially for short two‑day breaks—carrying bags all the time ruins the experience.

“Avoid.”

Even with a confirmation email and reference number, the manager claimed I hadn't booked, had no online payment, and then said no rooms were available—disastrous. I never saw the room I had a confirmation for, so I wouldn't stay here again.

“A very good stay in a very reasonable place”

The location was good, the place was clean and comfortable, and it was quiet. Free road parking was a plus. The only downside was that the view wasn't great.

Nick the host was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and funny, and nothing was too much trouble for him. Room 6 was spotless, the bed super comfy, a bottle of water was a nice touch, and there were plenty of tea and coffee sachets. I slept well, and breakfast was fantastic with pastries, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, and a cooked fry‑up. We highly recommend staying here; it totally exceeded our expectations. Thanks, Nick.

The host, Nick, was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was abundant and fresh, the best breakfast on my whole trip. The room was clean, and the whole B&B was nicely decorated.
