Ephesus Suites

I was glad we cancelled the city hotel Ephesus Suits; it’s not right next to the center but the restaurants are only a few minutes on foot, so we never had to worry about parking. A 5‑minute walk from the hotel is a small A101 supermarket, and the building is easy to spot on the street but still very quiet. Parking is available in the courtyard. You need to wear slippers inside. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very tidy, with a warm decor. I especially loved our bedroom: we checked in in the afternoon, and the sun flooded the whole room, and there was a balcony outside where we could watch the sunset. We stayed for two days and it felt very comfortable, just as the friendly host Sevgi said, “This isn’t a hotel, it’s a home!” It really felt like being welcomed.

It was the best accommodation in Turkey for us! We received a free upgrade to the classic apartment and were thrilled. The apartment was large, very stylishly furnished, and very clean. The best part of our stay was the hosts. They were incredibly accommodating and hospitable. They prepared a fantastic breakfast with a wide selection just for the two of us, and there was even fresh bakery bread.

“Better than a home away from home!”

Selcuk itself was a great city and a solid base for day trips, but staying at Sevgi’s home, Ephesus Suites, was even better. It felt like staying in someone’s home. Sevgi’s son Mert picked us up at the train station without us asking, and Sevgi welcomed us like family. The accommodation was the best we stayed in during our three‑week trip to Turkey. The room was huge and well equipped, the bathroom was equally spacious, and we had a balcony to relax and watch afternoon sunsets. Breakfast was part of our stay and was served either in Sevgi’s kitchen or on her terrace, depending on the weather. It was delicious and plentiful, and it felt more like a home‑style meal than a hotel or restaurant. At the end of our stay, without us asking, we were driven to the train station again. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed Ephesus Suites, and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Selcuk.

“Beautiful place and lovely host”

The house was beautiful, the breakfast tasty, and the room was roomy and comfy. The host went above and beyond to help with our travel plans and even gave us a ‘breakfast to go’ when we left early one morning. Renting a car made it easy to get around.

“Hermoso departamento”

What I liked most was the hosts’ attention; they were very friendly and warm in their welcome. The apartment was truly beautiful, perhaps the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, and it was very comfortable to have a kitchen where we could heat something or make coffee; the balcony had a lovely view.
