Homey accommodation close to Gregory Lake and a short tuk‑tuk ride into town. Rooms are very quiet and tidy. The hosts were lovely and took care of us, especially when our son was unwell. The bathroom was wet, but that seems to be a common theme here.

“Exceptional stay!”

A beautiful property right in the center of Nuwara Eliya town. The owners were very friendly, and the interior matches the photos on their page. The living area and dining area are nice. Beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms are well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and have hot water. The kitchen is nice with all the necessary equipment. I loved it there!

The stay was great overall, but because it’s cold in the mountains we needed heaters in the rooms, which were unfortunately missing. Otherwise everything was super. The host was a decent guy. I only lower the score for the lack of heaters – we were freezing without them. The only issue was the absence of heaters.

The room was spacious and the common areas were nice. However, the sheets were dirty, there was dampness on the walls, and it was very far from the village centre.

“Will definitely recommend”

We visited Elegant Home a month ago and the rooms and bathrooms were really clean and comfortable. The place offered a nice view and a parking area, both great. The owners were exceptionally kind and polite. The photos on the website matched exactly what we saw.
