The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly. I would pay extra for the room to get decent sausage, black pudding, and HP sauce at breakfast, and there was no beer in the bar.

The location is convenient with easy parking and a warm welcome inside. The property needed a bit of TLC, especially the roof area with heavy moss and visible loose downpipes.
