The property worked great for a family trip with kids, and the ice‑cream shop nearby was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, but it would help if there were take‑out menu options for pizza and similar foods from nearby places, especially in the evenings.

The deck had a lot of splintering wood, and since we were traveling with kids, I worried they might get splinters.

The location was great, the campground was clean and had nice amenities, and our cabin was quaint and met our needs, but the beds were really hard and put a damper on our stay.
