Hotel el Marqués

I chose this place for the parking, 24‑hour reception, and the pool that looked good in the photos. Everything is very deteriorated: the beds, blankets, towels, and overall room cleanliness are poor. The pool was cold, and the children's pool had a lot of insects.

“Podría mejorar”

The place is pretty and offers good value for money. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The room was very clean and the hot water worked fine. Overall, it was a pleasant family‑resting experience. However, although the hotel advertises itself as pet‑friendly, there are restrictions for pets and no suitable shared spaces in the common areas. During our stay, the jacuzzi and water park were not operational, so it would be wise to check beforehand. The pool had leaves and insects at times, so more frequent cleaning would help. Some rules were unclear, like the ban on entering the bathroom near the pool while wet. There is no night restaurant, so you have to go out; nearby eateries also don’t accept pets, which can make logistics tough for travelers with animals.

Cleanliness and the pool were great. The pillows sagged, and they only provided one towel.

“Un lugar de paso”

The hotel’s comfort was very spacious, with plenty of areas for rest and fun. Staff attention varied; some were very attentive, while others seemed annoyed when you asked for something. The pool wasn’t as clean as expected and the water wasn’t tempered, so we couldn’t use it even though we had booked the hotel for that purpose.
