Arthur was a great host. The traditional vineyard was lovely, and the surrounding grounds were very relaxing. The house had period furniture, and Arthur cooked a meal for us on our first night, which was excellent.

Lovely, small family‑run property. We were lucky to be there during the grape harvest and got fully involved in the process. Arthur, his assistant, and the wider family made us feel very at home and looked after us. It was very hot, so the pool was a welcome relief. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Nothing to complain about.

Wonderful place, original atmosphere of a Portuguese winery and a 300‑year‑old house, we felt very relaxed there.
