The staff were very kind, responsive and helpful. The room was spacious. The hotel was clean. Even though it’s next to the most touristy street, street noise didn’t reach the room. I was given extra shampoo and soap after I asked, but that wasn’t included. Breakfast was good but nothing special. I liked the mini pastries. There was a place in the lobby to refill a water bottle. Wifi worked. The bed was comfortable. The airport taxi service for 30 € was very good. A small table was available for work. Lots of storage. Great location next to restaurants and beach access for swimming. The room window couldn’t open. Only one cleaning during a 5‑night stay. One dose of soap and shampoo was absolutely unsatisfactory. No provision for refilling soap/shampoo, which is unpleasant given the room price. The check‑in preparation was a bit stressful with too many messages to arrange arrival time with a threat of cancellation. The room lighting was very dim.

“Wonderful hotel for the best stay in Funchal ✨”

I had the best stay at this hotel. The staff were beyond kind and even when my flight was cancelled last moment, helped me find a room for the night. Overall very comfortable, conveniently located, beautiful spacious rooms, and close to great brunch spots, cafes and the beach ☀️🙏 I’d LOVE to visit again and stay here!. Nothing to report

“Excellent séjour !”

The hotel sits right in the heart of Funchal’s old town, making it ideal for city exploration and nearby transport. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. I’d recommend it without hesitation.
