The building feels like a family‑owned gem with a vintage vibe updated to modern standards, and the owner was welcoming and friendly. The spot is perfect for a relaxed exploration of Porto.

The location, historic building, AC, balcony, and the owner’s warm welcome were all great, and she helped me find places to visit. The only downside was the creaking floor from above, which was very loud; I’d suggest getting a top‑floor room, though it wasn’t overly noisy. Still, the building is charming.
