“Magnifique petit endroit douillet!”

A tiny, cozy room with a lovely view of the Missisquoi River, very clean and welcoming. The private entrance and quick responses via messaging made the stay smooth, and I’d gladly return if I need a place in that area again. The only minor annoyance was that I only had a kettle and tea bags, since I don’t drink coffee.

The host’s friendly chat on arrival, the room’s tidy décor, and its comfort were highlights. The shower, however, was cramped, the showerhead stiff, and the water temperature fluctuated. There were no tissues, shampoo, or conditioner, and an electric kettle and microwave would have been welcome. The advertised view wasn’t from the room, so overall I found it pricey.

“Nice spot for an overnight in the Eastern Townships”

The spot was just a ten‑minute walk from town, but a train trestle about 100 metres away looked abandoned at first; later I discovered it was active, with a train passing through the middle of the night, ruining the atmosphere.

There was no breakfast, and I’m not sure, maybe a breakfast option could be added.

“Endroit où recharger ses batteries”

The place is perfect for relaxing, the hosts are very welcoming, and we had free access to the owners’ outdoor amenities: paddle boat, kayak, bike, and a dock with two Adirondack chairs where we could sip coffee by the lake; a microwave would be a nice addition.
