The countryside calm, the neighbor’s friendliness, even though he was watching TV on his terrace, made for a good bed in an old‑style setting. The shared bathroom was known in advance, but the toilet wasn’t separate, which was a bit annoying in the morning; the washing machine was outside and hard to use.
