Rodeway Inn Santa Rosa

I never actually stayed there because the front desk lady couldn't locate our reservation after a few minutes of searching, then on the day of arrival she was locked out of her computer and told us it would take 30 minutes to try again; we left the car in the pouring rain, grabbed a drink, and after about 40 minutes she still couldn't get in, so we had to cancel and she made sure we weren't charged a late fee. The place seemed short‑staffed with the same person cleaning rooms and handling the front desk, so we had to call the number posted at the desk.

The room was small, quite dirty, and the toilet didn't flush well; the lights were dim but still enough to see the mess.

“Would stay again”

The value and cleanliness were great, and the bed was comfortable, though there was some road noise that wasn't the fault of the Santa Rosa Roadside Inn.

The location was good, but the bathroom was dirty and the linens and towels were stained.

“Filthy”

The man who checked us in was decent, but the green shower curtains, filthy room and furniture, and a key that didn't work made the stay terrible; the staff was the only decent part of the experience.
