The Garden Rooms at Tannery House

“Lovely location. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Instructions on location, parking and arrangements very clear. Room a”

Close to shops and restaurants, very clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable, they had nice drink‑making facilities, the furniture was a bit outdated but not antique.

Near all amenities, the room was spotless, the garden view was lovely and great for summer afternoons, the only drawback was having to log into the app for breakfast, which was served at another hotel down the road – not ideal if the weather is bad.

“Anniversary break”

Central location, but the room smelled damp, the bathroom wasn’t clean with mold around the grout and sealant, carpets and curtains had dust on the kettle, and we had to walk to the sister B&B for breakfast – a problem if the weather turns bad; the room photos showed a modern bathroom, which was not what we had.

“Good location didn’t like walking up the road for breakfast”

Good location and parking.

“Short and sweet”

A lovely quiet room off the main street through Bakewell, no Wi‑Fi code was provided so I’m not sure if there was one, but it didn’t affect our stay.
