The Uriger Gasthof is a bit old-fashioned. Rooms are clean but very basic. It's a pity the inn is no longer operating. Parking is great and a very nice restaurant is just a few minutes' walk away. The bathroom was cramped, the furnishings were old, and the fixtures were hard to use. It’s great to have a drink fridge, but offering a 0.5 Weizenbier for €4.50 is something I haven’t seen from Hamburg to Zurich. The value for money is a bit off for me for both the beer and the room.

The owner is incredibly likable and constantly made sure we felt comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We could leave our bicycles in a large hall overnight.

A wonderful three‑bedroom suite, excellent breakfast, friendly and attentive owner and very nice staff, and a great base for tours around Sauerland.

Tanja Vogt delivered great service and gave useful tips, but some cars drove too fast past the hotel.
