Rooms are air-conditioned with flat-screen TVs, desks, and private bathrooms with showers and free toiletries. Some rooms showcase original palace walls and Peristyle views. The scenic Riva Promenade and Split Port Ferry Terminal are nearby.

The hotel sits inside Diocletian’s Palace—right in the middle of everything. Breakfast was served outside the entrance, overlooking Peristil Square/Courtyard. The staff were very friendly and competent. The only downside is that the hotel has no lift.

The location was great, and the staff were supportive when I needed an early departure—packed breakfast, smiles, and helped me catch a taxi. I loved my second stay; after visiting the Dalmatian Islands, I returned for a week and was treated to a fabulous double bed with a view of the silver gate.

The place is centrally located, spotless, and very quiet, and the staff were all extremely friendly. Nothing else to add.
