“Comfortable tower room”
Very comfortable—heater left on for us in the bedroom, breakfast laid out for the morning, and a lovely bathroom with a spa bath. The only drawback was that there is no door between the living area and bedroom, so heat escaped easily, but the design is based on a castle.
“Peaceful stay, water hiccup”
I found the place super quiet and the location was spot on. The only hiccup was a bit of water trouble – the tap was a little weak and it took a while to get a decent shower.
“Lovely stay, morning shower problem”
Beautiful place, the room had everything I needed and the staff I met was genuinely friendly. The only snag was that the water went off around 8:30 am, so I couldn’t get a morning shower.

The shower pressure was low because the head was leaking, and the fire alarm system was so sensitive it kept going off, making me worry about the extra cost. The walkways around the grounds were poorly maintained, tripping me up a few times, and the mattress was so firm I couldn’t sleep straight through the night.
