“Poco confortevole e poco pulito”
The proximity to the pedestrian zone was nice, but the room faced the busiest street, with loud noise day and night, and was on the third floor with no elevator, only a wheelchair lift that made access hard. There were ants, the terrace was cut off by a panel that blocked the sea view and left no room for a chair or drying linen, and there were no toiletries at all.
The property sits right across from the marina, and my room (Sole) had both a window and a balcony with sea view. The rooms are on the third floor with no lift. Unfortunately, only after paying do you get told that the bed and bath linens (which are not included, as stated) must be collected from their offices in Portoferraio. If you drive in, you might not need them, but for those of us walking it’s a hassle. Since the nearest port to Porto Azzurro is Rio Marina, not Portoferraio, the issue is even bigger. You arrive with your luggage and they expect you to also bring linens. That’s absurd, and it’s not mentioned during booking, so you can’t judge beforehand. The key retrieval system is also questionable: the keys are hidden in a small box with a combination in a narrow alley behind carts of cardboard, presumably destined for the dump. It took me a long time to find them. Fixing these two negatives would make the place deserve its good location.
The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the apartment in central Porto Azzurro was very cute.

solo la posizione , in centro ottima per uscire la sera. 1- al momento della prenotazione è poco visibile l'assenza di biancheria 2- camera sporca, sotto il letto vestiti di vecchi soggiorni 3- posto dove recuperare la chiave ,squallido tra i rifiuti 4- la terrazza panoramica consiste in un mini terrazzo di 1 metro quadrato, frontale la visto di un altro edificio e laterale un pezzo di mare. 5- in bagno mancava bicchiere per spazzolino, bidet traballante, box doccia precario. 6- chi gestisce la struttura una volta contattato per il problema pulizia/igiene, ha voluto un informazione ma non si sono mai scusati per il disguido
