Mini Escape is a two‑berth narrowboat moored on the Grand Union Canal in Aldbury, Hertfordshire. Everything else was great, but the boats were only a stone’s throw apart and the photo was shown sideways, so the water view wasn’t ideal. The smoke alarm kept beeping, and when I called the host I was told to leave it in the car overnight because it wouldn’t stop near our bed; I expected a fix but it didn’t happen, yet the place was still beautiful and we had a good time overall.
