“¡Una estancia maravillosa en Puerto Escondido!”

Our stay at Casa Ampa Zicatela was excellent. It’s a beautiful, pleasant place, perfect for a few days of rest in Puerto Escondido. We loved the experience and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. It’s one of those places we’d definitely want to return to—highly recommended! The only detail is that the area is still developing, so the surroundings still need improvement, but that’s unrelated to the accommodation and didn’t affect our experience. We have no complaints about Casa Ampa; everything seemed excellent.

The place is comfortable and very clean. There are few nearby amenities; you have to walk a short distance for restaurants or shops.

“A modern, relaxed place to unwind, with exceptionally caring hosts”

Casa Ampa feels clean and modern, making it a great spot to unwind. The rooftop and pool offer lovely views, and the king‑size bed was comfortable. The biggest highlight was how attentive the manager and her husband were; they personally addressed our concerns, welcomed suggestions, and genuinely cared about our stay. Their communication was always quick and warm, which made a big difference. For travelers seeking a relaxed beachside vibe with a modern look and genuinely caring staff, Casa Ampa is worth it. We did notice some finishing touches and maintenance issues, and the shower temperature was hard to control. However, management listened closely, took our feedback, and followed up on the steps they’d take, giving us confidence those problems would be fixed for future guests. The center of La Punta was a bit more than a 20‑minute walk, but the beach was much closer.

La habitación está muy amplia y muy limpia la decoración de 10. Que no están al pendiente de tu llegada y no hay un timbre para tocar la puerta ya que no hay una recepción como tal

“Comfortable and private.”

Everything was great. It was private and peaceful. It’s located in Los Tamarindos, which is very walkable to the main strip of La Punta as well as the nightlife of Zicatela. Views from the rooftop are very good as well. The pool is nice and relaxing.
