A little dated. Furniture was not very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Bed had hair on pillow. Great location. Super unique. Not great condition

“Once we had climbed the steep stairs to the top of the house we were fairly comfortable.”

The hotel was quiet and the facilities turned out to be good, which surprised us. However, the two steep staircases made it hard to move around, and we didn’t realize we’d need to book a downstairs room ahead of time, so we ended up with a suite on the top floor. We carried only two small hand luggage cases, leaving our larger bags in the car, and we also struggled with the bedroom lights and the TV.

Alles in allem für eine Übernachtung ok – the house and its furnishings feel a bit worn, with some items looking very antique.

“Delightful!”

The furniture and chandeliers are stunning, and we loved having a kitchen, a fireplace, a living room, and a balcony where we could sit and watch the water; the staff were friendly and responsive, and the suite was within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and a boat cruise, which was a real treat – everything was perfect.
