The property is well‑kept, offers parking and an on‑site restaurant that serves excellent food, and the room was spacious, bright, spotless, with a little terrace, a very comfortable modern bathroom, quality towels and toiletries, plus a comfy bed, nice pillows, elegant embroidered sheets and a soft topper; breakfast was plentiful and featured local items, and the tiny but charming wellness centre was a nice touch, while the staff at reception and in the dining room were friendly and helpful. It’s a shame the only extra amenity is the spa, which requires booking a time slot to avoid crowds, the rates are rather high for a three‑star hotel, and the village chapel rings four times an hour starting at 7:00 am, which can be irritating for those not used to it.
