The spot is perfect, the breakfast offers many choices, and the staff are friendly, but the building needs a bit of care—furniture is old and torn, it feels a bit dated, though that seems to fit the vibe of the area, and getting a car in is a challenge.

Marvao is a beautiful fortress town, and the Poussada sits inside the walls with a stunning view from the restaurant, yet the waiter who served us spoke barely any English, and the price was a bit high.
