The check‑in staff were polite and helpful, but the hotel entrance felt dusty, the hallway was full of spider webs, the bed had worn springs, the linens smelled bad, the pillows were stuffed with cotton fibers, and breakfast offered very few choices.

The old bathroom had a loose toilet, a clogged shower head, and a stuck shower door.
