The staff are truly friendly, super clean, free of odd insects, and there are cute kittens roaming around—definitely would return. The dishes smelled like eggs, but there was bleach and a lot of soap; I suggest having someone clean the kitchen and deep‑clean the stove.

I stayed in a large room with a balcony and enjoyed the bar that offered many activities, plus plenty of shared spaces. The nearby venues were sometimes very loud, but I used earplugs and it didn't bother me.

They added a credit card fee for the stay, which was disappointing.

The hostel was great, with a nice pool and bar and the staff were all lovely. The room was good too and it was only about a 15‑minute walk to the centre. The food was okay but not amazing.

It was fantastic, excellent for spending days in Bacalar with an extraordinary atmosphere; this is the second time we stayed there and we would definitely return. Nothing to complain about.
