The place and the staff were lovely. The pool was open at night, so people would splash and laugh all night, and the rooms were literally only 3 m from the pool, making it hard to keep quiet.

Functional, in a great spot for driving to downtown Tulum, not far away. You can eat at the restaurant, the pool is of decent size for a quick cool‑down, and the value for money is excellent. Nothing to note.

The welcome, room comfort, pool, and breakfast were all good. The fridge didn’t work and the TV had no remote control.

“Heerlijk, eerlijk kleinschalig Mexicaans hotel op prima locatie.”

A genuine, locally‑run hotel managed by a family, with delicious food, clean and spacious rooms, and incredibly friendly staff. The pool is modest but perfect for a cool dip, parking right in front is hassle‑free, and shops and other eateries are within walking distance, although we found the hotel’s own food the best. If you want to support a Mexican family instead of a chain, book here! The only quirk was that we stayed on the ground floor, so the pool was literally two steps from our door, meaning we walked back with wet feet and had to use the bath mat to dry off.

The staff were very pleasant, and the family‑size room with three large beds was spacious; the common‑area décor was nice, and the location was a short walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very good and the pool was enjoyable given the heat. The hotel sits right by the road and feels a bit dated, with a broken fridge.
