The location was fine. Even though I paid for a superior room, the one I got wasn’t the best I’ve had before; it was designed for an elderly guest, with bathroom handles suited for them. It wasn’t a great room or stay, and my 13‑year‑old daughter hated it.

Waking up and seeing Lake Decapo right outside the window is a real perk. Walking takes just a minute. The place is called a hotel but feels more like a motel—no soundproofing and no extra facilities. I stayed on the first floor, so it was fine, but the second floor requires carrying a suitcase up the stairs. The price isn’t great for what you get, though the view is decent. Breakfast isn’t offered on Mondays and Tuesdays, but the restaurants around Decapo open early enough for a morning meal.
